Science claims that coincidences are trivial chance occurrences; that when two or more unrelated events seem to have a connection that shouldn't exist, it doesn't. Curses, lucky streaks, sychronicity... it's all mere chance. Of course, science has yet to define exactly what 'chance' is; so how can we be sure it isn't important?
