Medjugorje
Medjugorje is a small town in Bosnia/Herzegovnia where, since about 1983, visions of the Virgin Mary have been reported. These miraculous visions have only just made it into the news recently, however, when the residents of the town claimed it was bypassed by the destruction of their country's civil war because the Virgin Mary was protecting Medjugorje. Now, true believers flock to the small town from all across the globe, and I have to wonder... do the shops in Medjugorje sell commemorative T-shirts?
