MYSTERIES is a database of unsolved and just plain strange true (and supposedly true) occurrences; if only enough could be learned about them, these may someday be solved. Who knows... maybe YOU know the answers! This site is a sub-list of the ANOMALIES database, and contains accounts of unexplained and unsolved puzzles and occurrences that do not appear to call for paranormal solutions.
Articles are separated into two catagories: the General Topics are about key events or groups that mysteries are associated with, while the Specific Events articles each deal with a single unsolved or unexplained occurrence.
The Bibliography is the list of sources I've used in compiling these articles; each book has a short review, good or bad, and links to all articles that gleaned information from them. The Illustrations List can quickly link you to all the articles with pictures, as well as listing the initial sources for all of the illustrations. And for those of you new to these subjects, there's a Glossary to help you with unfamiliar words and phrases commonly used in these articles.
The Anomalies Classifieds is where you can sell or find a book, or just post for information you've been trying to find... or help others when you know something helpful! Finally, the Anomalous Links is a list of links to other sites that deal with specific topics... no links to pages of links here! The links are separated into related groups to make researching particulair types of events as easy as possible.
Also, the Black & White Index contains copies of all the articles simplified visually so they are easier for some browsers to display, and much easier to be printed. If the "light letters/dark background" combo of this page bothers you, then try out the B&W pages!
Articles are added and updated often, so check back!
